Yes! Normal means returning to the status quo, which is the opposite of what we need.

… because, from what we’ve seen in just the last decade, the things that should change likely won’t. Amid the many calls for change in 2020, what’s persisted above all is a desire to get back to normal. But normal is what got us here.
